Earlier this week I spoke with musician, artist and writer Thom Dunn, who currently plays the role of “J” in the ongoing Kitchen Theatre production of “Brahman/i: A One Hijra Standup Comedy Act”. In the segment version of the Beat we discuss the style of the play, how audiences have reacted to it, as well as delving further into Dunn’s background.

And in addition to discussing the play, in the longer interview we also talk about topics such as Lady Gaga all-male tribute bands, Journey songs with unusual significance, what it takes to fuel creativity, and most importantly… death with bunny hops.
