When it comes to my travels and interviews for The Arts Beat so far, one of my favorite things to do is to try and help shine a light on new entities. Whether they be businesses or people or somewhere in between I try to highlight just a few of the TONS of fun things in the Ithaca/Tompkins County area.

My latest search brought me to The Loft in Collegetown, which is the second floor bar and lounge added on by the owners of the Carriage House Cafe. I spoke to some of the nicest folks you’re ever to likely meet there to learn more about the business, the music, and everything else in between.
