For many fans of vinyl records in the modern era, Record Store Day is a special event that celebrates the endeavors of the independent record shop. That’s usually done through a selection of yearly exclusive releases (twice a year since another RSD date was added on Black Friday), as well as musical performances and other festivities to get people into the spirit.
