May 8^th is formally going to be known as Grateful Dead Day here in Tompkins County, and that’s largely because May 8^th is the 40^th anniversary of one of the most significant Dead shows that took place right here at Cornell University. Ithaca’s State Theatre is doing a massive celebration for the occasion, and I spoke to the State’s executive director Doug Levine to find out more.
