After the early release of Brock Turner, a Stanford University student convicted of sexual assault, Yana Mazurkevich, an Ithaca College photography student, created a photo project in reaction to the event that then went viral. You can find the photos on the Facebook page for Current Solutions, a site that publishes stories that deal with sexual assault and domestic violence. They include a content warning that the images may be triggering to sexual assault survivors. Mazurkevich says she tried to make this series diverse, showing victims of different races and genders, in various scenarios found on a college campus.
