PEOPLE YOU SHOULD KNOW: Leslyn McBean-Clairborne

After migrating to this country from Guyana in South America, Leslyn McBean-Clairborne lived in New York City, Aurburn, and Syracuse before finding herself here in Ithaca. She was a teacher, a camp counselor, and worked for the community in the Community Dispute Resolution Center, among several other positions, before she became a county legislator. Now she’s been with the legislature for 16 years and isn’t finished yet.
