Ashley Cake opened The Watershed with her business partner Dave Thomas after they kept hearing from people in the area that the bar scene needed something new. It’s small and cozy, built for conversation, and has a focus on making their customers comfortable. All the bartenders are trained to spot and intervene in possibly dangerous situations. The Watershed is a culmination of what Cake, a former teacher and avid reader, cares about.
