Amy Dickinson grew up in Freeville, New York, not far from Ithaca. She’s worked as a journalist in television, online, magazines, and radio and is nationally known as the advice columnist Ask Amy. She’s an author, a mother, a member of her church choir in Freeville, and a Cubs fan, and she has a new book, Strangers Tend to Tell Me Things, coming out soon!
