When the Cornell Football team takes the field Saturday for the first time in 2014, their offense will be led by Junior James Few. He takes over for Jeff Mathews, who holds dozens of Cornell and Ivy League passing records.
Few says he’s not trying to be Jeff Mathews, but instead, will play his game while leading the Big Red offense.
Playing last year when Mathews was injured, Few went 14-17 for 178 yards and two passing touchdowns in a win over Columbia. He also ran for a touchdown in Cornell’s 24-9 win.
