McGrath to challenge incumbent Perfetti in Cortland County DA race

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – There will be a challenger in the election for Cortland County District Attorney this year.

Elizabeth McGrath, a former prosecutor in Cortland County, is running against incumbent District Attorney Patrick Perfetti. She tells WHCU why she’s entering the race.

McGrath adds she wants to make sure everyone has faith in the legal process.

McGrath, who currently works as an attorney at Citizens Concerned for Children in Ithaca, will appear on the Democratic and Working Families Party ticket in November.
