ITHACA, NY (WHCU) – A local non-profit group has found a brick-and-mortar home in Ithaca.

Love Living at Home cut the ribbon on their Hanshaw Road offices on Tuesday, after several years of remote work following the pandemic. The member-driven organization helps enrich the lives of older adults aging in place with support services, and educational and social programming.

“It is wonderful to have a place to call home and invite our community to connect,” said Executive Director Thena Lindhorst. “We appreciate the help of our volunteers with office moving and set up. We thank the Legacy Foundation of Tompkins County for financial support for office furniture and equipment, allowing us to put together a welcoming and inclusive space for our members, staff, and volunteers to gather.”
