Cornell men’s, women’s hockey teams prepare for huge games

It’s the biggest weekend of the year for the Big Red men’s hockey team. Cornell takes on Quinnipiac today at 4 p.m. in the ECAC semifinal. Pregame coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. on WHCU. If Cornell wins, the team will play in the ECAC final on Saturday at 5 p.m. Both games are in Lake Placid, N.Y.

The Big Red women’s hockey team is preparing for the national semifinal. Cornell plays Ohio State tonight at 5 p.m. If Cornell wins, the team will compete in the national final on Sunday at 4 p.m. Both games are in Minneapolis, Minn.

The Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team looks to stretch its win streak to five. The Bombers host Vassar on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team is on the road this weekend. The Bombers face St. John Fisher on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Conference play begins today for the SUNY Cortland baseball team. The Red Dragons host Oswego at 2 p.m.

The TC3 baseball team has a busy weekend ahead. The Panthers host a double-header against Onondaga on Saturday. TC3 then travels to Onondaga on Sunday for another double-header.

The Sabres have a pair of games this weekend. Buffalo visits Minnesota on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Sabres then play the Jets on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Binghamton Black Bears are on the road this weekend. The team visits Watertown tonight and Saturday night. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.
