Electric Vehicle Car week rules


Starting Saturday September 26 , 2020 @ 6 AM WHCU and WYXL-HD2 will be starting the “Electric Vehicle Virtual Car Show” contest. Listeners can enter at the above-mentioned station’s website and can enter once by Sunday October 4th 2020 at 11pm. Submitted photos must be of an electric Car, Truck or SUV Photos sent in of a vehicle other than an Electric Car, Truck or SUV will not be accepted. We will still accept entries towards prizes even if no photo is submitted. “Electric Vehicle Virtual Car Show” is an online contest and will run until Sunday October 4th, 2020 at 11PM.

All Entries (with photo and without photo) will be combined and drawn from at random on October 5th for the Prizes listed below total of 13 winners divided by prize pack

Must be 18+ to enter. One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participants entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the email address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

Images submitted must be owned by the person submitting the entry. No one else may have, or can claim, legal rights to the image. If there is a “minor” (a child or person under the age of 18) in this image, the entrant must certify that he or she is the parent or legal guardian of the minor (child or children) in the image. Any misrepresentation of ownership of the submitted image, or legal guardianship of the minor in the submitted image (if any), will be grounds for disqualification of the contest and potentially all future contests or promotions with Cayuga Radio Group. Entries containing inappropriate images will be disqualified. Cayuga Radio Group has final say of what content is appropriate for the website and has absolute discretion over the eligibility of an image entry. No indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, no material containing nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest, you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third-party ownership rights exist to the image. If the image contains people, by submitting such image you agree to have the rights necessary to consent or submit on behalf of those in the image.

Entries containing inappropriate photos or music will be disqualified. Any photograph submitted to any of the cluster stations will become property of the stations. The stations will have final say of what content is appropriate for the website. No use of indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, contains nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene, profane, or pornographic is permitted.

By entering this contest, you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third-party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted. By entering you verify that whomever is seen in the photo are either pictures of the entrant or the entrant’s minors. If the entrant is unable to waive its rights to publication or waive its minors rights to publication, the entrant will be ask to submit a new photo.

WHCU and The Vine contests are open to all eligible New York State and Pennsylvania State residents 18 or older have not won anything on I100 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of I100 Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WHCU & Vine main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash. WHCU & The Vine sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WHCU &The Vine shall have no further responsibility if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included with the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
